How loyal are you to a particular brand of smartphone? Are you an Apple fan boy or do you adore everything that RIM does? Me? If it works I like it, end of story…

I have had 3 Samsung handsets, so there is some loyalty. Mainly because I have found them reliable, great phones with excellent signal strength (we often forget this is the most important part) and the Samsung extras are valuable worthwhile additions. Even the hardware is superb. eg 5mp camera on the Omnia but also with a superb range of photo capturing options and editing.
I wouldn’t say that I have any particular loyalty, but there are a few brands I would avoid. Perhaps it’s best not to name names though!
I’m not sure it’s so much brand loyalty as OS loyalty. I liked Nokias for a long time because they were easy to use. Similarly, I loved the PalmOS but several of my devices were non-Palm, e.g. Sony Clie and Tapwave Zodiac.
Currently I have a Treo 680 and I’ve been waiting for the Pre, but if WebOS doesn’t live up to the expectations, I’ll be off for something else.
I’ll use whatever gives me the software I need, the user experience I like, & the best reception I can get. I always thought I was brand loyal, but my recent switch from Palm to BlackBerry taught me a lot.

As long as it’s got Windows Mobile, I don’t mind.
I’ve gone from Nokia to SE then HTC, but don’t see myself changing(unless unlocked iPhones come down in price!
Having said that, I just got the missus a Nokia 5800 which is fun to play with.
