The Hero: you touch it, you want it

heroTake a look at this video from the Clove Blog. It is striking for the enthusiasm the reviewer shows towards the HTC Hero, but it also demonstrates the device very well indeed.

An HTC Hero dropped through my letterbox this morning and I will be reviewing it on 247 next week. I have only had a few minutes to play with it so far, but I can see where the reviewer mentioned above is coming from.

All of the hype may have been justified with this device, but I will be giving this one a more thorough going over that usual and looking at every single aspect of usability and all of the built-in software and the third party solutions available as well.

As for the first 5 minutes- wow!

Two of my colleagues that have this device have had issues with the Exchange sync s/w. Shaun will you get a chance to look at this feature?

I will- what problems did they have?

@Shaun,I have not got all the info but I think it is related to security policies on the Exchange server. Users of Nokia’s ‘N’ series devices also have similar problems in that not all the security policies are supported by the client s/w.
