news4A new webOS firmware has been leaked (v1.2) which includes accounting information in the App Catalogue, a location toggle and a potential copy/paste revamp. Now who would be so stupid as to leak that? None other than Palm itself. More at MobileCrunch.

The BlackBerry Storm 2 has started to appear in Vodafone’s inventories. A charging pod and 3 pack of skins have been spotted so far so maybe we can expect to see it soon.

AT&T has explained why MMS on the iPhone took so long via Seth the Blogger, who I wouldn’t want to meet in a dark alley by the way.  I have a big issue with the explanation- the historic data usage on smartphones is dominated by web browsing, streaming, email and connected gaming and social networking. Admittedly MMS is more popular in the US than other counries, but to use that as a reason for the delay does not quite figure.

The Phones Show 89 is now online and includes extended news (including the Nokia N900) and hands on reviews of the Nokia E52 and E55.

areamobile is reporting that the HTC Touch Diamond 2, Touch Pro 2 and HTC Snap will all get Windows Mobile 6.5 updates. It will be interesting to see how well the udate works with existing devices and how many more will get it.
