News round-up: TiVo for BB, dropped iPhone calls & no iTunes for webOS

news30TiVo for BlackBerry has been released and brings with it most of the functionality you will need. It is free and available from App World now. “With TiVo® for BlackBerry® smartphones you can wirelessly access your channel listings and program your favorite shows while on the go with the familiar TiVo look, feel and features that you’ve come to enjoy at home.”

Using an iPhone in New York? Well, if you are 30% of your calls may drop acccording to Gizmodo. “The Genius told Manoj that’s actually excellent compared to most people in the New York area, where a 30 percent dropped call rate is the average.”

Has Palm given up on iTunes? The latest webOS update does not allow the Pre to be synced with iTunes this time and I guess this could have been expected following the recent rebutal from the USB-IF.

Those of you who are jealous of the excellent Twitter implementation in Android can look forward to HTC Peep for HTC TouchFlo 3D. msmobiles has written up a lengthy piece describing it, and it looks very similar to that on the Hero.
