The growing row about geographic restrictions on eBooks from the likes of fictionwise has created a minor scuffle in the world of eBooks, mainly because this particular part of the industry is relatively small compared to the Amazon Kindle and other such devices. As more and more books are barred from being sold to customers in specific countries, the less titles they will obviously sell.
This can only result in the industry growing smaller and thus the argument becomes less well heard than it is already. I no longer buy eBooks from fiction wise (or eReader, Barnes & Noble or whatever they are called now) because the choice is not wide enough for me. I can go into a normal bookshop and buy anything I choose, but I do not appreciate only being able to purchase the fifth title on my list of next reads. The problem may be solved at some stage, but until that time eBooks are a memory for me.
After so many years reading this way it is a shame and it will probably results in me reading less than before, but I can see few other choices besides carrying around a dedicated reader or buying paper books again. Neither option appeals very much to me.

I went back to paper books, on average the same price (even for large sized new releases), and no region hassles, if I find it cheaper from the US or UK then so be it..
This really annoys me. Corporate greed.
