What is the minimum specification you require in a smartphone camera? I tend to be happy with anything above 3MP and with a decent lens. As long as it snaps quickly, I don’t need much more in a smartphone camera- it is not there to replace my main one.

Anything 3MP and above for me as well. Although, I would throw in autofocus as something that’s a necessity as well. Flash is good to have but not essential.
I genuinely don’t have one, although I’d rather the device had a camera rather than none. 95% of the time I have my digital camera with me though so it’s not an issue.
5mp with quick camera shutter as a minimum. Flash is handy too.
5mp but also 30fps and DVD resolution video capture
I don’t use the camera much, never have… but I don’t know I’d that’s because they’ve always been kinda bad. I’ve seen a friend of mine take some nice shots with his N95 – my E71 is the best I’ve had, which is saying a lot about what I’ve had!
