After dissing the Bold 9700 earlier today I have been searching around for the best upgrade offer on my current contract. Surprisingly the Bold 9700 came out best and Vodafone are allowing me to extend my current low level £19 / month contract for only 12 months and throwing in a free Bold 9700.
It seems far too good to be true, but the evidence is online now and they also claim to be delivering from 6th November.
If it all works out and the price is indeed correct, expect a review some time next week.
UPDATE: Just received an email with this nugget included- “Thanks for extending your contract with Vodafone for a further 24 months.” Thought it was too good to be true- awaiting reply…
UPDATE (2): Phoned Vodafone to cancel order and they gave me the 12 month upgrade. Did not expect that for one minute! Also, the phone is delayed by 7-10 days:(
