msmobiles is not really a credible site for news. I used to be a frequent visitor but have since stopped going to their site because they either post false news to attract traffic or they just repost what other reputable sites posted a day or 2 ago. I suggest that you don’t link to them for fear of dragging this site down to their levels…
Interesting. Have you got other examples of this? More curious than anything.
Msmobiles is just a very subjective blog of one person. If you follow the site long enough, you’ll get to know the blogger’s biases. The blog is targeted at Windows Mobile users but he consistently rants about the OS and Microsoft. Every device to him is a complete failure if it doesn’t have a 3.5mm audio jack and multi-touch screen. I’m not exaggerating here. He has said so himself over and over in the site’s forums. There’s been a lot of heated discussions between him and other forum users. People suggested he just go and get the iPhone but he maintains his loyalty to Windows Mobile even though he continues to rant about it.
I remember about a year ago, he posted a headline saying that HTC is going out of business or something. Then in the 1st sentence of the article, he says something like “well, not really…blablabla”. That’s just bad form.
Then, he takes pictures from other sites and plasters the “msmobiles” watermark on it to post at his own site. Again, bad form.
For the first time in over a year, I went to their site just now. And it’s still full of crap. Just look at the headlines:
Presentation Companion 1.0 for Windows Mobile released-helper for Powerpoint Mobile 2010 – legitimate news but he has to throw in a rant.
Windows Mobile podcast number 307 published- no comment, I’ve never downloaded their podcast
