Co-Pilot Live for iPhone brings live traffic. Hooray!

Co-Pilot Live UK & Ireland for the iPhone has been updated to v8.0.0.512 and brings in-app purchases for premium Live services such as traffic plus in-app purchase for Text to speech voice instructions. I think this is the first iPhone GPS system to include live traffic monitoring and it works very well indeed. I have been lucky enough to be using the service since I first reviewed Co-Pilot for the iPhone and it has not let me down yet.

Future released will include additional GPS performance improvements, user control to dim or switch-off music during voice instructions and further enhancements based on customer feedback.

Shaun can you pls review the traffic services. How does it work? What I mean is when it spots traffic issues does it ask if you want to re-route or blindly take you off route. I had issues with tomtom previously taking me off motorways through town centres where not really necessary.

Worse now the Australian distributor have said they have dropped them altogether as the support from the main company is just so poor they don’t want to be associated with them anymore.. (at least that is what the support rep said when I called them)..
