What about the Casio Boss &amp; similar PDA&#039;s from the &#039;80s?  I used these for PIM calendar, contacts, &amp; memos long before the Psion, Newton, &amp; HP&#039;s.  They had good keyboards, decent screens, &amp; good performance for 25 years ago.  Don&#039;t forget the Atari &amp; Poqet PC as well - full-fledged DOS PC&#039;s in your pocket that could run WordPerfect among other apps.</description>
