What mobile operating system do you expect to be using at the end of 2010? I genuinely have no idea what I will be using, but I do think BlackBerry is the favourite at the moment.

It’s difficult to see me part ways with my Touch Pro2. But if any of the following happens, I’ll jump ship:
1. When there’s an Android device with a comparable hardware keyboard and WVGA screen. (The Moto Droid doesn’t qualify because of it’s cramped keyboard)
2. When WinMo7 releases and lives up to expectations. Also require comparable hardware keyboard and WVGA screen.
So by the end of 2010, I should be using either Android or WinMo7. If neither of the above happens, I’ll stick with my WinMo6.5.
I fully expect to replace my iphone 3g in the summer with the rumoured iphone 4g.
I don’t expect massive changes from the 3g/3gs but
faster processor
more memory
better camera
Without these and hopefully other advances I would be forced to look at the Nexus One but I genuinely believe Apple will exceed my expectations and keep me on the iPhone.

Like Jason I’m expecting to be using Windows Mobile or Android. Its really a question of who moves forward with their OS fastest and furthest. Google are releasing frequent incremental updates for Android but Microsoft have WM7 waiting in the wings…
I’m currently on WebOS but if Palm don’t get their act together regarding timely GSM OS updates and the European paid AppCatalog, I’ll be leaving for Android and shiny Nexus-series device well before Christmas 2010.
Perhaps we’ll have a Nexus 6 by then.

iPhone 4th gen.
Android and WM7.
Hmm difficult one. My HTc HD2 is performing very well, so windows 7 hopefully.
I will be keeping my eye on iphone v4 and android, both very good but not quite there for me yet. But very close.
Probably 4th gen iPhone – my 3G contract’s up in May and I’m still in love the the iPhone.
Blackberry baby. Nothing else will do for me.
I’m on WinMob and old Palm OS. My expectations are to get an Android device and keep the “even-older” Palm OS
I don’t know yet. Probably either Android or iPhone.
iPhone or Android, but I really don’t know for sure. I’m thinking of getting an iPod touch instead of an iPhone. If announce a version with a camera later this month then I’d be very happy.
