What form of communication has become more prevelant to you over the past year? BlackBerry PIN Messaging has been the only big change for me with text and voice still high on the list. Skype and other internet voice services have passed me by on my smartphone.

Does twitter count? I’ve chatted with all sorts of diverse people on it. I did use Skype extensively when I was on a trip to the US, but I have used it before so it’s not that new to me.
Facebook. There are people who I’ll send a message via Facebook rather than email, because I know they check it more regularly. I also use Nimbuzz to chat to people via Facebook, Skype and MSN. Facebook has also been a great way to keep some kind of light contact with friends from overseas.
I’m using facebook, & believe it or not, IM (Yahoo, Google), for the first time.
