How much of your smartphone use is for serious tasks and how much for fun? I am in the curious situation where my BlackBerry Bold 9700 is 99% for serious use and my iPhone 3G is for 95% fun (apart from GPS use).

My phone is my personal phone, but I use it for a bit of everything.
Depends on what you define as serious and fun!
I suspect Shaun defines serious as work related stuff. I don’t use my iPhone for anything work related (other than having my work calendar synced so I have all my calendars in one place) but that probably doesn’t equate my use the above view of serious.
I have games on my iPhone but very rarely play any, and don’t listen to that much music or watch many videos so I guess broadly it’s almost all “serious” use, (is Twitter serious? It can be for some…)
For me, my device it’s just a practical tool and I don’t make the distinction.
On my iPhone
70% serious
30% fun
I’m probably about same as you Shaun. Treo is my work phone 95% of time. Hero is mostly for fun.
