Apparently it is eBook week and I have only just noticed. The event is designed to get you reading an eBook this week and some special offers have been made to coincide. More details are here.
“E-book information and free e-books define Read an E-Book Week. From March 7-13th major e-book retailers and authors offer free, or deeply discounted e-books for the event. These e-books will be available in the E-Book Store. Many of our participants have free, or discounted e-books throughout the year, so please return often to see what is available.”
I haven’t noticed that this week is “ebook week”.
Perhaps with all the geographic restrictions that this news was valid for US residents only…
All I can say is “Meh!”
Well its well worth to have a look at the links on the ebook-week website. Its not all “gold” of course but there are some interesting gems hidden vor everyone i think.
If you are looking for something to read outside the books-charts, try manybooks.net, feedbooks.com and the ebook sektion at mobileread.com forums. Will take you more than one life to get through all that stuff ;o).
@ Eric: I was about to post a similar post, since ebook purchasing has become kinda difficult for all those outside the US.
