    No. I am way to cool to ever be considered a nerd.

    On the other hand… My daughter once called me a nerd to which I replied, ‘I think that if you look up the dictionary definition of nerd you will see that I don’t really fit into that category.’ She replied, ‘If you know the dictionary definition of a nerd then you are a nerd!’

    I am losing my status as a Smartphone geek as I am too niche for most of my colleagues as I don’t like the iPhone and have never really looked at the RIM range. I prefer older versions of Symbian and WM 6 :-(

    Yep, I’m considered a nerd by most folks. But I’m a musician nerd, so there’s a little cool factor thrown in – luckily. My family has called me “Tommy Tech” for years.

    Not really, smartphones are quite common these days. People know I like phones a lot, and that I tend to use mine quite well. I seriously think people just look at me and think I’m texting the whole time or something!
