QOTD: Mobile software spend?

qotd27How much have you spent on mobile software in the past 6 months and what platform are you using? I am guessing that iPhone users buy the most titles, but that other platform users maybe spend more.

I haven’t spent much at all. Mostly because I had already done previously. One of the reasons that I chose (grugingly) to return to a windows platform was a legacy of software. Some of which I haven’t used yet.

The guys at the XDA Developer site have pathched SenseUI to the extent that I haven’t replaced it with Windows Mobile Shell (which will need upgrading) yet.

It looks like I will have to buy an upgrade to CoPilot to suit my HTC HD2, and that may cost a few pennies….

Nothing! I already had everything, and my E71 came fairly complete, and things like Google maps are free.

I’m sure there’s an app for this (or something that you can do via iTunes). In fact here it is – one of Murray’s posts..

I did use this and found that despite thinking I’d spent almost nothing on apps for my iPhone apart from the £25 I stumped up for Co-Pilot, I’d actually spent about £90!!!

Yeah, I have a problem in this area – especially since getting the iPhone. It’s just too easy to buy apps, & they’re so darn cheap. I have 279 apps in my catalog, & I’m not sayin’ how many I paid for & how much, but can you say Wolfram Alpha?

A rather tight attitude I have to buying apps I’m afraid. There’s plenty of free apps out there that do a similar job to either the built in or paid for later ones.so I won’t buy any.

iPhone and LOTS. There are over 200 titles in my Applications folder. Mostly games.

I used the app and discovered I’d spend about 50 pounds since the app store opened, which isn’t that bad really.
