Do you use your smartphone to consume or create? This is a difficult question, but I tend to use my iPhone for consumption and my BlackBerry to create communications, lists and documents.

Consume.
I find it quite hard (first touch screen) to write on/with the Desire. The Palm was much easier and faster for me. However for real creation give me a real keyboard. For me this means a laptop or a “Pad” with a workable bluetooth Keyboard. I say “Pad” because I don’t want a IPad however good it is. Philosophical choice. Waiting.
More consuming than creating definitely. But it is useful to have the option to create from time to time.
Same as Shaun.
Both consumption and creation take place on my iPhone. I’ve written many thousands of words on it and it is my primary device for capturing ideas on the fly.
I was going to say consume, but thinking about my iPhone use I use Twitter a lot and Facebook as well as writing emails, making notes etc, so I’d probably say on balance mainly consume, but create a fair bit too.
I create agenda entries, todos, keep a shopping list and write texts. I have gone back to consuming ebooks on my phone. For everything else I use my netbook.
