The Apple Peel could find its way to market quite soon and is designed to give an iPod Touch voice and text abilities. It also offers 120 hours of standby and 4.5 hours of talk time. The Chinese manufacturer also claims that there will be zero radiation from it which is most unlike any other mobile phone on the market.
I guess this will offer an iPhone ‘style’ experience to iPod Touch users and of course the combination of the two will be much cheaper than an iPhone, but the quality of the Peel is unknown (I can guess though) and the new iPod Touch will have current users running to the retina display and camera (or two).
