QOTD: Smartphone accessories?

How many accessories do you have for your current smartphone? I have a ZAGG protector, Herbert Richter windscreen mount and a PDair case for my iPhone 4. Oh, and a charger for my desk at home. And a charger next to my bed. And a charger in the car. And a charger on my desk at work. Not that I am suggesting my iPhone needs charging a lot…

Various headphones for multiple devices, including two sets of noise canceling headphones. Sennheiser in ear headset for the iPhone. Two iPhone cases, one of which needs to be binned as it’s so worn. iPhone screen protector. Car charger and spare sync/charge cable for work. Car mount (for multiple devices again). FM transmitter.

Hmm let’s see… iPhone 4… A leather belt case, an Incase clear case (from the Apple case program), an egrips piece on the back of the Incase, boxwave screen protectors, an X-stand, various charging cables, a car charger, a bluetooth headset, and a car cradle. Just the basics.

For my iPhone 4: A clear snap on case and a charger. That’s it.

Oh, and a Macbook Pro to sync it to…;-)

For my ageing E71? I stick it in a Apple iPod Nano pouch these days. I got one of those colourful family packs of basic Nano pouches which some in a variety of colours. The plain grey sock fits nicely around my E71. I’ve stopped using the 2.5-3.5 converter plug since I don’t use it for music anymore. I’m fairly minimalist though!

this goes to prove that many modern phones are actually mains powered pocket computers with a built in UPS (uninterruptible power supply) where the UPS (battery) is there for the short periods when the phone is not in the car, at home or in the office
