What was your mobile highlight of the year? For me it would have to be the iPad- it came late to me, but got there in the end. The Amazon Kindle is brilliant as well.

For the highlight is that Apple showed how a slate/tablet computer could be made to be a useful device, unlike M$’s UMPC! Using the Samsung Tab I can see why many people seem to prefer the 7″ form factor. I can see myself moving to a smaller screen over time but the iPad, for the moment, is the device for 2010.
Definitely the iPad for me. Very few phones or handhelds have grabbed my attention this year, they’ve all been iterative rather than particularly revolutionary. The iPad on the other hand has been a really new experience. The large touchscreen has brought new ideas for games and productivity and it’s great for books and couch surfing. I’m still not convinced it’s an essential device, but it’s very nice to have around.
Tough call between the iPad and the iPhone 4.
When my wide and I got our iPads, I wasn’t sure how much I’d use it or like it. Now I read magazines and books, play games, and even some serious stuff like take notes in meetings and do mind mapping.
I had an iPhone 3G before and as much as I liked it, I knew it needed more speed and what iOS 4 brought. Unfortunately, with iOS 4 it was too bogged down.
With the iPhone 4 I don’t feel that very much is lacking. I am quite satisfied. That’s not to say I wouldn’t get the next one, but it’s the first smartphone I’ve had where I wouldn’t be disappointed if someone told me that this was it and it wouldn’t get any better. I can’t say that about the iPad.
So for me – it’s the iPhone 4.

The Apple Eco iTunes setup between my
Devices.
For it was moving from a Nokia E71 to a NokiaGalaxy S. My 200€ netbook has surprised me with it’s price and usefulness.
