Do you manage your finances on a desktop or mobile computer / smartphone? I use Pocket Money on the iPhone every day and found it invaluable for seeing what money is being spent on. I don’t want to check my iTunes spend anymore, it is depressing…

I used to but nowadays it’s all via a desktop. I tend to just use a spreadsheet to keep track of things (in conjunction with online banking).
Financisto on Android, almost daily.
I have a spreadsheet on my DropBox that helps me look at cash flow over the next few months. I’ve gone strictly cash/debit only until the credit card debt is paid off, so this helps me have some idea about how much is left for groceries and flexible spending until the next pay day. With DropBox, I can work on it at home or work on Excel, and on the go on my iPhone with Documents to Go, which can access DropBox files. Most of my “subway” route is actually on elevated track, so I have Internet access most of the way.
I use Moneydance on my Mac for most of it, but they do have an iPhone App that I’ll enter stuff into on the go.
