What do you think about using your Smartphone as a payment device? Many services will be available soon, using NFC and SMS services.  Would you use your Smartphone and network contract to pay for other services?

How many SIM cards do you use? Many laptops now have a 3G module built-in, tablets are often 3G enabled and obviously Smartphones and 3G dongles use SIM cards.  For comparison, I have three that I use ( 2 Smartphones and my iPad) and one more provided by my company for my laptop. Thanks to Jah.

What do use your tablet computer for? Is it mainly for content consumption or content creation? How well does it fit with your requirements? Thanks to Jah.

Do you feel like replacing your Smartphone or connected device more frequently than before to take advantage of new and better technology and features? Thanks to Jah.

We took my son to Disney World on his 6th Birthday and while we were away Neil came up with the idea of questions of the day to fill in some news during that week. My son celebrates his 11th Birthday today and the questions of the day still appear. That means that we have published more than 1,250 of them over the past 5 years.

So you can maybe understand why I am asking for your ideas (again) for future questions of the day. My mind is ‘question of the day’ empty. If you have any ideas, please send them to shaun (at) mailstm.co.uk. They will be hugely helpful!

What would you ask Steve Ballmer about Windows Phone? I would ask if he has a clear strategy or is he willing to continue pebble dashing ideas until one sticks.

What one question would you ask the CEOs of RIM? I would ask them why they seem to be giving away the best parts of their business to competing platforms.

What would you ask Larry Page about Android? I would ask what Google’s long-term goal is for the platform really is.

Do you ever sacrifice the experience of reading, playing or watching media on a larger device to do so on your smartphone even though a TV, book or games console is readily available?

I do so with games, eBooks and TV episodes all of the time.

How many times in a normal day do you check Twitter, Facebook and other social networking sites? I check Twitter a lot, but Facebook I just don’t bother with anymore.

Do you know anyone who knows more about smartphones and the mobile industry than you? Sadly I know a few…

How much would you guess you spend on apps, music and downloadable video every month? I think I am probably averaging £15 each month at the moment, but have plans to reduce that.
